I remember the days when the men rode on the back of the truck out in the open wheaten standing outside. It's especially difficult in a snowstorm . My dad was a fireman in those days. Hard of hearing years from sirens. While you're running out, there running in. 9/11 to all the New York fireman. God bless Human Angels

The very first Volunteer Fire Dept that I started with way back in September of 1985 in Bloomingdale, NY has purchased 3 Toyne Units over the past 15 years. They have purchased 2 Small Tankers on Kenworth Commercial Chassis, and their most recent purchase was in 2016, when they purchased their very first Custom Spartan 6 Man Cab Rescue Pumper. The Spartan 6 Man Custom Cab was the very first fully Custom Cab Rig ever purchased by the Bloomingdale Volunteer Fire Dept. They have come a very long way in a very short few years, thanks to newer, younger members, and Officers taking charge, and stepping out of their Comfort Zone, getting away from the Commercial Truck Chassis, and getting into a fully Custom Cab Unit, built by Toyne.
